I do web design as well as construction of your website with the possibility of personalizing your pictures or additional graphic design attached to your company. The initial process of creating a website takes time and thought, and it is a process in multiple steps to realize a site that reflects your company with your values.
Here are some thoughts about how I work and what to expect from the whole experience with some sites I've done. The web design process
Your idea
You have an idea! Let's discuss it further, and together, we will see the direction of the website. From there, I start to develop the process with your idea in mind.
Research
I start to research functions, color schemes, navigations, styles, and other visual ideas following your original idea to determine your personalized needs.
Wireframe / Structuration
Every website, whether a new or a rebuild of an old site, needs a clear and organized sitemap to structure the site before the work starts.
UX/UI design
In the user experience/user interface design, I plan the layout, content flow, colors, images, and conversion to show a site that reflects your company.
Development
At this stage, I create the site to be a responsive, well-structured, scalable, and maintainable website to look good on all devices (desktops, laptops, pads, and cellphones).
Approval of design
Before the final stages, like translation, testing & launch, the approval of the site is an important step done by you to see the final product before the launch.
Testing
After the design is ready, there is the testing that starts to see that everything works on different platforms before the final approval of the site.
Launch
The final stage is the launch of your site! Let the world see your new & shiny website, but I'm still here to verify that everything rolls as supposed, just in case.
How do i work?
Building a website is like building a house; you plan the structure, choose the materials, choose the colors, and finally build it. Following the eight important steps above, I carefully plan the site in advance before building it!
I work in the WordPress environment and today I use Oxygen page builder as a tool to build functional, bloat-free, and quick sites. Oxygen is not a theme, but a site builder that helps us designers develop sites that look better, work smarter and load faster without all the bulk that comes with themes or other page builders, like Elementor, Divi, Wix, etc.
What makes it so good? First of all, it does not work with blocks, modules, or layouts like other page builders. Oxygen is a website builder with complex features that allow web developers and designers to create great websites with the help of divs, columns, CSS, HTML, and JS, and to have full control over a website. It can do everything that other page builders can do, but always at least a bit better and with faster loading time.
For the building of the wireframe of the site, I use Adobe XD which is perfect for creating a realistic-looking, interactive prototype of the site and its different viewports (mobile, pad, laptop, and tabletop versions). The building of the wireframe, planning & interaction between me and my client during this important stage is super smooth through live feedback, directly on the platform, which reduces the back and forward emailing rumba!
WHAT do i expect from you?
Once you start to go forward with the idea of having a website, you will have many questions and points to think about! The importance is that you already have an idea of what you want to do with your site. Will it be a showcase site, a boutique that sells your products, or another transactional site (ticket selling, events, etc.)? A site also needs pictures. Will you need a photographer to take them, or will you use stock photos? Do you have any colors in mind already that are attracting the right clients? So many questions and possibilities!
The most important is the content that creates an SEO-friendly site which is easily findable on Google and other search sites. An SEO-friendly text is not easy to write! you have to keep in mind which keywords you use and choose, and the best way is to use a copywriter who specializes in this. Do not use AI to create your text since the search engines can easily spot the AI-generated text from genuine text.
The more ready you are with these questions, the quicker your site will be made naturally, and more precisely, it will be created after your needs and ideas.
WHAT THEN?
Once your website is ready and launched for the world to see, our project together is at its end.
A live website is living its life on the web with attacks from hackers, plugins that need to be updated regularly, and maybe some information that needs to be changed or updated, therefore it needs to be maintained. I offer a separate maintenance service so that you do not need to take care of that.
